Inbetween

Visualize that you're stood still, watching, listening ~
as hundreds of people move around you, some quickly, some slowly ~
each one tuned into their image, their routine, their struggles and perception of the world ~
it is your last few years on earth, in your current form at least ~
how would you relate to the people all around you?
would they listen? would they notice? would they care?
does it matter?
some might pause and stand for a while ~
some might smile, nod and disagree ~
all interactions form trails, touch potentials and coalesce into memories ~
such is the nature of relationships ~
we need one another and yet, we are one being, multifaceted ~
how does that work?

Time. Pump. Spin. Weave. Thud. Shift.
let's talk about death, no, change of form - more palatable to the human senses ~
consciousness can't die, it can't begin or end, only form can do that ~
which is why we have to let go ~
as sometimes, we need to rearrange everything in the room ~
and we can't stay where we are ~
no matter how much we love where we are ~
or who it is that we're journeying through life with ~
we have to leave our current form, we have to change ~
so we slip stream into another aspect of consciousness ~
and those that we leave behind can no longer see us or speak with us
and interact with us as they did before ~
and if they have loved and appreciated all that we have represented ~
they will miss the vitality of our presence ~
even if they choose to remember us and sense us ~
it is not the same, it is not as it was before ~
as everything has changed, and why?

What is so precious about taking upon a form ~
and experiencing relationship?
that it should justify trauma and suffering as well as joy?
why is the cause of the soul so precedent?
and what of the nature of hopes, dreams and values ~
are they insignificant in the presence of a larger vision?
I cannot be me and you, for we collide and I die
and there is no-one to notice these tears

Life is only precious if we value it, and not simply for what it can yield us
and this is true for whether we are in spirit or in form
Growth is the greatest deceiver
Expansion cannot accumulate
Implosion is to be our destiny
The one into all ~ and repeat
